Guest guest
Andy: I use to be like that too...have a lot a pride. But now, I know I need to take care of my health now...not my pride. Guest guest
And fall we do, Larry! Don't we? I took a big tumble myself last week...crashed down right on my artificial hip. I screamed loud enough for the whole neighborhood to hear even before I hit the ground. The mid-air scream wasn't pain, it was fear. It's was a terrible 2-3 seconds, waiting to hit the ground, wondering how bad it was going to be this time...and hoping that when the dust settled, I would still be able to walk. I was incredibly fortunate this time. But I do worry about the 'fall, fall, fall, fall'....to come. And I'm grateful for each day that I can still walk. Maybe I need to 'walk softly and carry a big stick'!
