Guest guest
Is a positive Esoterix test for allergies? I get the various tests confused. Many may differ with this but if you get mold colonies in mold plates, it doesn't mean you have a mold problem. It just may mean you have average amount of mold. Did you send it off for results/analysis? If there are areas of 'old mold', if it isn't alot, perhaps you could get your house properly " air sealed " , so no air from inside walls, gets mixed in to room air. If mold problem was significant, that wouldn't be enough. However if you are living there now, it may help give you some time until you decide what the case is. There are certified 'air sealers' now. At least there are around here. I think it is a new area of specialty, but energy sealers should do the same thing. It would have side benefit of saving you energy dollars and give you a little better air while you figure it out. If you are feeling sick though, better test is to leave house for 2-4 weeks to see if you feel better. > > Hello, I have a positive Esoterix blood test for several toxic molds. Mold plate testing in my home has revealed some colonization also (I know these aren't the best). >
Guest guest
I'm not in California, so I can't recommend experts there, but you should read the California Mold Remediation Guidelines. There is a lot of good information and references to several good articles about the health effects. http://www.library.ca.gov/crb/06/01/06-001.pdf ________________________________ From: Hansen <ce_hansen@...> Hello, I have a positive Esoterix blood test for several toxic molds.
