Guest guest
Hi everyone, My mom is having a lot of Chiari-like symptoms and her doctor ordered an MRI. The same idiot that read mine and said the Chiari is not really anything read hers. It showed no ACM. It really showed nothing. Her doctor (it's her OB/GYN) told her to see my NSG because he thinks she has MS. Would that be very likely considering I have ACM? Aren't there some cases of ACM with little or no herniation? I see Dr. Frim. I was thinking of taking her films with me to my next visit in October and see if he would look at them. It just doesn't make any sense to me that she has the same type problems I have, but she has MS and not Chiari. And, don't they have to see lesions to diagnose MS? She had none. She is really experiencing mostly numbness. I also have B12 deficiency, maybe that's her problem. Shouldn't she see a neurologist instead of a nsg? If anyone has any thoughts, let me know!
