There are mold self testing kits but they are very limited and

highly inaccurate. They will not determine exposure and do not

identify species. Most professional testing does not determine

species. Most species must be cultured, taking 7-30 days. A DNA

(PCR) analysis is possible which will determine species but not all

of them and not quantities. It is much more expensive.

If you want a legal case, you need a professional who FIRST

inspects and assesses the situation. Only then should they test, if

they test at all. The reason is there are not laws or standards

which defines certain levels as needing remediation or not; or that

it is not safe. The professional should work with your attorney so

a defensible claim can be established. The biggest obstacle is

the lack of plaintiff's attorneys knowing how to create a solid

case.

Thanks for the info,  I am familiar with the expensive testing as I had it done

on my own home where I suffered mold exposure, now it is in the apt building I

am in...just seems to follow us around like the plague...no one has money for

expensive testing and I know it is on us to prove mold toxicity.   If I could I

would run but have not recovered anything from last losses and am without

means...

 God Bless !!
