Guest guest
Is anyone going to be attending the National Ds convention this coming up weekend, or be in the D.C area? If so Dr. -Cook IMDSA's head researcher will be there and she said that she would be happy to do a buccal swab on your child to check the percentage of their skin cells. A buccal (cheek) swab is where she uses a small toothbrush and rubs the inside of the cheek. You DON " T have to attend the convention to do this. If you happen to be in the D.C. area and your child already has a confirmed diagnosis of mDs, you are welcome to take part in the current research project. If interested please contact at @... in the subject line please put Buccal swab test. Thanks, Hellard President International Mosaic Down syndrome Association (IMDSA) P.0.
