Dr. -Cook to be in D.C. area this coming Friday.

 Is anyone going to be attending the National Ds convention this coming up

weekend, or be in the D.C area? If so Dr. -Cook IMDSA's head researcher

will be there and she said that she would be happy to do a buccal swab on your

child to check the percentage of their skin cells. A buccal (cheek) swab is

where she uses a small toothbrush and rubs the inside of the cheek. You DON " T

have to attend the convention to do this. If you happen to be in the D.C. area

and your child already has a confirmed diagnosis of mDs, you are welcome to take

part in the current research project.
