Guest guest
Hi, We lived with stachybotrys also. We have not really been able to get any treatment yet. We went threw the same, seriously ill, severe exhaustion, we have been out now for 5 months, we are not getting better however, need a safe place. We landed near the beach however on top of an ex meth lab. We have no resources, to get out. We have lost all, including all medical equipment. The only treatments we have had are baths of baking soda, epson salts, hydrgen peroxide, lemon water, some NAC, fish oil supplements, coconut oil, flax seed oil, hot peppers, Accumulated toxins in the body can be flushed out using lemons, they are considered to be ideal for detoxification of the body, however, the large amounts of citric acid present in lemons can also stir up the inactive acids and inactive toxins accumulated in the body leading to side effects. The content of minerals found in the lemon forms an alkaline ash as a product of digestion. This alkaline ash may go into the tissues of the body, however, the action of the citric acid in stirring up many of the acids in the body and it is not always possible to rid the body of toxicity disorders. As the kidneys, the bowels, the lungs, and the skin are not eliminating the body acids at a fast enough rate, it becomes hard for the body to rid itself of these acids. As a result, the acids may remain in the body due to the inability of the body to eliminate them at a rapid rate, they may become very reactive to the point that acidemia and many related irritating disorders develop in the body. A person who is allergic to many types of foods may find that his or her condition is due to the highly acidic conditions in his or her stomach or because of continuous acidic reactions in his organ systems. If all the eliminative organs in the body of a person are working at normal rates, then citric acid will not produce any of these irritating effects in the body and none of these symptoms will manifest. God Bless !! dragonflymcs Mayleen ________________________________ From: " margiereed@... " <margiereed@...> Sent: Thursday, June 4, 2009 2:13:30 PM Subject: [] Treatments? Do you get better? I've been out of the (Stachybotrys) Mold Environment for about 7 months now. The first few months, I felt like I was going to die. I had about 25-30 symptoms and lost 20 lbs. But now I feel about 65% better. I was wondering what treatments you used and whether you think they helped? I've tried Cholestyramine, B12, fish oil, N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (Glutathione precursor), and probiotics. How long have you been out of the mold environment and how are you feeling now? Do you ever feel completely better or almost completely better? And how long does it take? Thanks for Any Info
Guest guest
Hi, The only two treatments that have worked for me are Lamisil pills and cholesytramine. Im still not 100% but compared to years of being on my death bed (before meds) im on the road to recovery it seems. The sad thing now however if rexposed im back to square one again. I was living in a stachy environment for 1.5 years. Water leak above the master bedroom where i slept:(...... after im done with my last rounds of cholestyramine i will be tanking up on fish body oils and lecithin oils and doing steam baths and internal cleanses starting with getting rid of all the body fat i seem to held on to. Guest guest
Elias, glad to hear you are doing so much better. As I have mentioned previously on Sickbuildings, I tried many different treatments but nothing seemed to help. Finally, my doctor gave me Lamisil and it made a huge difference. I am not at 100%, but I am feeling a lot better. Lamisil helped to reduce the cognitive damage that had been caused by the toxic mold in our home. ________________________________ From: E E <photoguys2003@...> Sent: Thursday, June 4, 2009 9:33:24 PM Subject: Re: [] Treatments? It's a strong topical, OTC, for foot fungus. If you treat your skin conditions as well, you may find your immune system is off loaded, and cognition comes back a little more. It does for me. OTC Lamisil instructions must be followed, exactly, for best affect. Read the scalp limitation (I hazily recall that).
