Hi everyone…we are Jerry and Sue Wiebe (Jen’s folks) and her little boy with

MDS is Ethan Bollenbach, but we all just call him ‘E!’ We requested to join

your group to learn as much as we can of real world experiences for this very

uncommon syndrome, and find ways we can, as grandparents, participate in and

encourage his development. Thank you for letting us join.

Please welcome a new member to our group.

I will say welcome first and say hi and its nice to see you here. My name is

and i am in Australia

I am a mum of 5 under 10 years & our most recent little blessing was diagnosed

with MDS at birth. We thought having twins was a fun ride but so far this one

has been full of more surprises! She is 8 months old now & at the end of all the

testing, she appears to be in great health & we keep our fingers crossed that

with the OT & speech therapy available to us we hope to keep on top of as much

as her ability will allow. I would like to be in contact with others who are

going through similar experiences though my time is so limited with such a big

family so having access to an online group would be perfect. i look forward to

hearing from you soon!!
