Guest guest
Refer to our Files section on B6 (pyridoxine) and CMT. The info there from CMT expert Dr. Parry is invaluable. B6 is to be avoided by those of us with CMT in * megadoses * (meaning WAY too much - like if 1 is good, 10 should be better) People with CMT taking large dosages of Vitamin B6 on a regular basis for an extended period of time should be aware that problems can arise. There is a potential for damage to our nerves, which we don't need. Some symptoms that you are taking too much B6 will be increased numbness and tingling in the hands and feet. You may also notice a loss of manual dexterity and your balance may be worse. Gretchen P.S. , thanks for posting the meds alert. It's always a good thing to keep reminders for ourselves. Guest guest
Reading this list it made things click as to why I have such a violent and negative reaction to anti-malarials!!! For years whenever I take them I have awful symptoms, so I have opted for the monitor / drink tonic water solution. Thanks for posting this updated list, Donna from London -------------------------------- Stay tuned for my 2009 fundraising efforts, on behalf of Breakthrough Breast Cancer!
