Guest guest
, CMT stands for Charcot Marie Tooth disease. Guest guest
i thank you for letting me join the group. but i dont think cmt, is what i got. see in 2000, i got atrophy in my leg. happen for no apparent reason. which i was working as a housekeeper in hotels for 30yrs. so it wasnt that i wasnt using my muscles. the drs were thinking maybe a pinched nerve. but dont know. my concern is now im having too many muscle spasms or cramps, in my leg and foot. it happens when i climb stairs, or walk like a big store like walmart. and then again just moving my leg the wrong why, i get them. so i thought this was a group for ones that had atrophy like me. i also have a lot of numbness, and cold chills in my leg. dont have any idea what it could be caused from my atrophy. thanks mary
Guest guest
: I would say see a neurologist and get tested. You might have Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia like me...I had and have some your same symptoms from the beginning. I have atrophy in my legs also. Do you find yourself tripping sometimes? This is a sign too..but the best way to find out is by seeing a neurologist. Marin
