Guest guest
Hi, Sorry to all I have not posted about my trip. I actually stayed at one of these hotels. Miami Marriot at the Airport. They have the 6th floor all dedicated to Pure Rooms. There was a little scent in my room but they provided me with 2 air purifiers instead of one. I did OK and would do it again. The Residence Inn where I was supposed to stay is good as well. I did the brave thing and walked in with nothing to visit the Pure Rooms. They seemed OK as well. Are great if staying and needing to cook, you have a 2 burner kitchen with dishwasher and full fridge. Ther is also a 1 Bdrm apartment full kitchen. I would use it. I have severe respiratory problems and most of my reactions are respiratory. These are located on the 3rd floor of the Resience Inn. Will post more later, I have been depressed about my appointment, so I had not posted my trip. Still trying to cope with it. Very disappointing and upsetting to me. At least one of the Dr's. I have a contact person atthe Marriot and she will wok with the Housekeeping at the Residence Inn. If you have MCS she will make accomoations and is familiar with needs. Air Purifier is the same I have. Bionet. Sorry typo's if any.......... Dragonfly ... Breaks illusions, Brings visions of power, No need to prove it, Now is the hour! Guest guest
Thanks for posting this, . The olgear.com Web site labels them " The Ozone Specialists. " I have problems with tea tree oil. I have grave concerns about being exposed to anti-microbials on bedding. Wyndham has been duped by another sales scheme based on ozone. I will not stay at Wyndham hotel rooms contaminated this way. Guest guest
Carl, thanks for commenting. I didn't think it sounded good when they said they were going to use anti-microbials on bedding. ________________________________ From: Carl E. Guest guest
Yes, until certified otherwise. All air purifying devices now must be certified by the state. According to their Web site only a few are now certified. Read more details at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/research/indoor/aircleaners/aircleaners.ht m The list of " Potentially Hazardous Ozone Generators Sold as Air Purifiers " is at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/research/indoor/o3g-list.htm Carl Grimes Healthy Habitats LLC ----- Funny werent ozone machines banned in Cal ? Guest guest
This is great news! One reason why we don't venture out is because of the nasty rooms we end up in. It does not matter how much one pays or where one stays, there are ALWAYS an odor. Last week we drove up into the mountains. We stayed in a little hotel which we have stayed at in years past. Well, I guess the house keeping was on vacation, it was awful. Smelled of stale smoke and just a dirty feeling. I kept the windows open for the most part. I have felt kinda bad all week after being there. > > Wyndham Plans Allergen-Free Rooms and Meeting Spaces > Wyndham > hotels worldwide will soon cater to travelers suffering from allergies > and asthma, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts recently announced. Guest guest
Everyone has different means (financially) and finding safety is hard. When you are obilgated to travel far for medical care it is that much harder, either way it is hard. The choices sometimes narrow even more. Being ill, not having alot of resources, it is very stressful to travel for all of us. This is our first glimpse of income just in time to go to the hospital of all things.
