Guest guest
Report: Oak Ridge Military Academy Also Has Mold Mold At Elementary School Forces Closure, Displaces Students August 1, 2009 OAK RIDGE, N.C. -- A recent field report showed that the Oak Ridge Military Academy, where students displaced by mold at a nearby elementary school were set to be relocated, isn't safe either. Oak Ridge Elementary School will be closed until it is cleaned and mold-free. On Thursday, it was discovered that one of its relocation facilities won't be able to be used. Grades 2 through 5 were originally going to be sent to Oak Ridge Military Academy during the time that the elementary school was being cleaned. However, new reports show that there is mold in parts of the Military Academy, as well. So, grades 2 and 3 will be at the Military Academy in rooms where the mold is not present. Fourth- and fifth-graders will be housed in the mobile units at Northwest Guilford Middle School.
