Guest guest
NEEDS sells a copper/zinc filter which I tried. I was told that it did not put copper or zinc into your drinking water, but that is not true. I could taste the minerals and so researched this to find that there is an exchange of minerals not unlike a water softener. In my case, iron and manganese were exchanged for the copper/zinc. I didn't use it long enough to know if it would adversely affect me, because I couldn't stand the taste. Just me I suppose. I doubt that small amounts of zinc would be harmful, but the copper may be for some people. Jean
