Hmm, perhaps that would help my left foot which I hurt 2 months ago.

A small IR light. Interesting. I'd only heard about the full body saunas.

There is a lot of web sites selling them. Some are MCS safe.

Is the light far IR, or near IR? Can you post the brand name and model number?

Warning: when using such lights yourself, do not get too close, as

skin contact

with the hot bulb will burn your skin.

I researched both near and far IR light several years ago, and found

the light waves

would not penetrate more than 1 inch into your body. While skin is

transparent,

it's only 1/16 inch thick or so. Then comes fat, interstitial

volumes, and muscle.

Far IR penetrates farther than near IR.

Is it just the warmth that speeds healing, or is something about the frequency

helping? I have no input on that, as my research found nothing years ago.

I'd be interested in anything anyone has to post. Include where you got it

and I will follow up.

Me, too. Do you care to share? Online? Or privately? Email me which.

Infrared light that bathes small area of skin link below. I was wondering in

infrared sauna does same thing with larger areas.

He also uses electrical stim units, professional models cost couple thousand but

these TENS units are portable versions for individual use. If your doctor think

you would benefit, insurance will pay for but these prices are pretty low. I

had a foot injury that has damaged some nerve tissue and taking forever to heal,

so I'm considering this. I've been on crutches for four months now.

, I massage my foot regularly, stretching and weight bearing exercises in

pt twice a week, but healing is so slow, thinking about this unit:

One can check beauty suppliers for infra red lights. I have one which I used

for facials when I was working as a barber. It is suppose to be good for skin

conditions like acne.
