My, what a boat rocker you are. I advise first contacting the store management. If you want to " force " the local management into " fixing it sooner " , then take your post, missing the paragraph above, and send it to their president at their HQ. A secretary will open your letter, and route it to a Vice President in charge of facilities and the other VP in charge of Safety, and another in charge of Customer Relations, and the three VPs must now compete to get the President's approval, so they can be promotable to his job. Also, talk with the sales clerks there, and warn them, 1 sentence, of the bad mold at that one location. It was likely a spill at that checkout stand... and easily cleaned up. So, why get the government involved, who will just slow things down? Do NOT use that checkout line again. Nor any close to it.
Guest guest
You sure it wasn't from the customers or clerk?? If people live in homes that have mold, which 39% of US homes its on there clothes. I was outside AND WAS knocked over by someone clothes. It only takes a fragment of a spore to set me off. Try the store again and don't go by that clerk From: Drury <crystalnightwolf@...> Subject: [] Safeway Mold Issue Date: Friday, July 31, 2009, 5:14 AM I went into Safeway (Bauer Drive, Rockville MD) last night, finished up shopping, got into check out and almost gagged at the stench of mold while standing there. The smell got worse as I progressed through the line, and there was only 2 customers in front of me with just a little bit of stuff. By the time I got in front of the clerk, I had a ripping headache, and was holding my nose. What government agency, besides the health department can I report this store to? This WAS my favorite store, and now I can't use it. I'm violently allergic to most molds and have been all my life. I'm not a clean freak (can't be with 4 kids), but this isn't safe for anyone, especially the people who work there. I will no longer be going there until I get some kind of confirmation that they have done something about it, of which I'm positive I will never get to hear about. Guest guest
--- I was going to say that also Kris. If this person has shopped at the store many times, its more likely that the mold was " on " someone in front of them in the check-out line. I react violently to peoples clothing and can tell in a second if their home/car is moldy. D In , a Townsend <kmtown2003@...> wrote: > > You sure it wasn't from the customers or clerk??
