Guest guest
I thought that Dr. Croft did some urinalysis test. Last night I went to the Boston Mold movie viewing and the doctor from a laboratory was talking about glutathione deficiencies and his lab also does some urine testing for toxins. I don't understand why these tests are so expensive. The price quoted was $900. Yikes! As more labs are doing this testing, is the price inching down? Dr. Shoemaker whom I have not met or seen as a patient was articulate and precise in his discussion of the problems confronting people from sick buildings as well as Sue Brinchman and Sharon Kramer and Melinda (The Godmother, I call her)Ballard. > > Even if Dr. Croft's paper isn't original, it does provide helpful information to others--especially people who are new to the Sickbuildings Group. The link you included is for a paper from 1974. Was there something in particular you wanted to point out? Which paper are you referring to by Forgacs? > > > > > ________________________________ > From: " Jack Thrasher, Ph.D. " <toxicologist1@...> > > Sent: Thursday, May 14, 2009 8:43:43 AM > Subject: [] Re:Stages of Mycotoxicosis > > > > > > What Dr. Croft has stated is not original. Guest guest
unfortanatly the only lab that does this is Dr Hooper who was at the movie. Realtime labs is the only lab in the country who is willing do this. If you haven't figured out this stuff can be pretty toxic. He does have a discount I just can;t remember how to get it. Guest guest
Dr Croft had us have punch biopsies taken of our lower calf and then he did his PCR testing. I have my pathology report if you want to see it, to give you a clearer understanding of how he uses the stages in his diagnoses. . Guest guest
Maybe if you just ask. I know I balked at the price and they offered me lower price, saying it was on sale. If it was on sale, I wondered why they didn't give that to me first. Sale price was even too high for me because I have already spent so much. Things that seemed " Okay, I'll pay for it because it's my health " , after awhile when things still aren't solved, then it's " I can't take any more " . It seems more productive to put the money into fixing house problem or paying for a move, than chasing after a diagnosis. I get diagnosis and then no treatment plan or not anything I wasn't already doing just from reading. > > unfortanatly the only lab that does this is Dr Hooper who was at the movie.
