Dear Mike,

Welcome to the group!! We are so happy that you've joined us. Thanks so much

for the encouragement about the transplant. It's been an emotional

rollercoaster every time the phone rings. Yesterday someone called my cell

phone that had the wrong number....I nearly had a wreck trying to answer

it!!! haha!!

Take care and God Bless!!

Hi! I wish you well on your transplant. I can only imagine waiting for

the call. Just a comment on joint pain. I have it in my elbows. It comes

and goes and might last several months. It hurts, but not enough to take

a chance on any more medicine side affects. I just put up with it. Fortunately

it is only my elbows.

Another thing that helps is to teach yourself to use both hands. I use

my left hand 90 percent of the time now. My right arm is pretty shot,

but doctor says it isn't carpel tunnel, just tendonitus and the bad elbow.

You really can't take anything for the tendons because of the UC since

the non aspirin medicines he talked about get the UC going. Acturally it

is faster to use your left hand because you can use the number keypad without

taking your hand off of the mouse.
