Guest guest
My family and I have been discussing about maybe the change of scenery is in order soon. Right now we live in Washington state. But the climate up here has started to become a toll on my nerves and muscles with the CMT. After I had the feet surgery over a year ago my feet are better(no longer hammer toes) and able to be a little more balanced, but because of the surgeries now the bones ache in the cold. We were thinking that maybe its time to move in an enviroment and climate like Arizona. I know each state has its ups and downs and also sometimes is it worth the trouble to move if you can just try to deal with it on a daily basis, but I guess I am looking for ideas were you all live and if you are able to make it through the climate you live in on a daily basis. Thank you.
Guest guest
I lived in Arizona for 6 years and loved every minute of it, even the heat at 115F. Was always in the pool, or floating a river Lived in Oklahoma and Texas for 5 years - beautiful spring, but high humidity in warmer months just made me uncomfortable. Also lived in Wyoming, paradise, cold but dry snow, absolutely beautiful spring and summers. Southern California from San Diego to Santa Barbara has great weather year round; ok maybe morning fog along the coastline, a few raindrops, some mud, wildfires and an occassional earthquake, lol But then weather has not been a problem for me with CMT. I just prefer open spaces, and close to the coast and beaches. Gretchen
Guest guest
Copying papers is a great idea. The only small snag is the many post it's and colored ink I'm using on two large current projects, But ultimately, bagging and boxing old papers for storage and copying current ones solves it. The only other issue is receipts for yearly taxes. I suppose one could do all that outside in early April. I don't seem to need radical avoidance. Away from home for two weeks improved my health even tho I had clothes and blankets from home. On return I FINALLY could smell the mold in my place which I knew was here all along. Muscle testing with mold nosodes indicates thd baddy in my home is aspergillus fumigatus. Back home I feel worse again. > > --- In , " cocopollyphenol " <cocopollyphenol@> wrote: > > > > Whatever you bring, try to find a way to wash it after you take it out of the old house and before you put it in the new house. Plain water seems to be fine. It still will be contaminated with the mycotoxins, but if you wash the spores off it won't contaminate. (Much anyway.) > > Papers are a challenge because they can't be washed. If your current house is really bad, copying them might be worth it. >
