Water damage again and out of the house........

I've been out of touch since I haven't had much internet access as I am staying

at a hotel again. Fairly nice one, at a hugely reduced price for over a month

stays and it smells moldy to me!! It didn't when I moved in a couple weeks ago.

Sigh! If I leave before a month is up, I pay a lot more so I have the windows

open now with a fan blowing air in with door cracked open. I feel like I'm

living in Hell.

I thought air would be good here because hotel has central air and heat but the

odor is unmistakable. Perhaps not coming from a/c but the humidity in spring

bringing the moldy smell from elsewhere in hotel. Halls smell moldy too. I

asked to see a couple other rooms and 'moldy'. I don't know whether to sleep at

home or the hotel now.

I had additional water damage to my home, high winds late last summer blew off

some roofing tiles and then basement crack came back that was repaired. It's an

old house so it's always something.

I had source of leak fixed by now, but it has to be cleaned up well before it is

safe. The only thing that seems better at hotel, is my skin is less itchy at

hotel, so probably less allergens at hotel, but otherwise don't feel any better.

Ugh! Hopefully I can get the cleaning done by end of month arrangements and

this can just become another fond memory.
