Thank you Lin, but, like the kids would say, " I'm not sleepy why do I have

to go to bed? " Whine, whine. (bouncing with laughter here) Those were the good

old days.

Hey, go to sleep yourself young lady, you'll get old and ugly like me if you

don't.

(plum tickled silly here, am I silly tired?)

Good night and love a lot,

Imogene

Hey! And so glad to be back! I miss everyone here far more than many of the

Imogene, I've been skimming weeks'worth of e-mails: if I'm reading correctly,

you and Don have gone through quite a few changes recently. We'll catch up

with each other, I'm sure.

Have a restful night.

Love, Lin

Lin, I am so very happy to see you on line again. You are one special lady

to me.

I gather your mother is better now. At least squared away again. But,

goodness the caretaker doesn't need to be sick. I am really sorry to hear

it. I

guess you are better too or you wouldn't be writing.

I love to read your insight into this disease of many characteristics. You

have taught all of us a great deal. I hope you will always be able to do so.

Love a lot to my special friend,

Imogene

Dear Norma,

Hi! This is just three weeks late: I do apologize. have been away from the

computer that long. First Mom had pneumonia not caught by a chest X-ray, then

horrible impaction, then I got sick, too. Just now going through hundreds of

e-mails which have piled up and saw my name. I might not have been clear

enough in my e-mail about Provigil. I have liked it for my mom. She's been

on

what's considered a low dose since late last summer. We would like to

increase

the dose, but can't during these other problems. I have not had Mom on

Dex,

and would not put her on any of the amphetamines. I'm told its mechanism

is a

bit different than Pro, which seems to act more " mildly " than the

amphetamines. My recollection is that and Jon were using one stimulant

quite early

in the AM to cover the time before the Pro kicked in. I am not certain if it

was Dex or something else. Apparently some folks can handle the amphetamines,

but while all stimulants could potentially

pose problems, I am less anxious about the Pro.

Do hope you are well and able to enjoy the summer. Will be watching for your

posts now that I'm back.

Take care,

Lin

Hi, hi, hi!

Well, I WAS in bed at the time you wrote so early this AM. I love being back.

NEVER " old and ugly " Imogene. More like " mature and lovely - inside and out! "

Love,

Lin
