Guest guest
There were some models I checked out that were sort of rough out of the box. I didn't have the feeling that the ones that I saw in person had a very high grade of stainless. I've heard that RO lowers ph, so I guess that means it takes out minerals. It is also a costly way to filter water if you are paying monthly fees for your water. I don't know. Getting healthy water has been something I haven't figured out. I think perhaps put right into glass after distillation, or right into glass reverse osmosis water.
Guest guest
Looks like Sam asked the original question? I posted a while back that I had purchased the filter I was asking about. Thought I would again put the link out. I have been unbelievably happy. Free, chemical free pure water. Its worth checking out. http://www.ecoloblue.com/en/technology Sam, I don't know enough chemistry to answer your question. Water softening works by replacing the calcium with sodium. Some of the magnet companies used to claim the magnetic field has a similar result. Some seemed to help but there was no real objective evidence. Maybe someone else on the list has the answer.
