Does anyone have any info to assist us with advocating for positions regarding our credential to be billable for Medicaid? It seems that clinics and programs in Orange County, NY are only hiring clinicians with billable credentials for Medicaid due to state funding budget cuts. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. I did quite abit of research into medicaid/medicare billing about a

year ago with CMS in Baltimore. Art therapy is not yet billable for

medicaid. It would be a great iniative for AATA to work on and

promote. It is frustrating to see social workers bill for services

that we could be providing.
