Guest guest
Leena: I have hyperextension issues too with my legs but not CMT diagnosed. I am diagnosed with spastic paraplegia. You should see a trained physical therapist to teach you how to correctly do hyperextension exercises. Your therapist will know your strength level with your back, knee, and leg muscles. There is no point to doing any exercise but to do ones geered for your body needs. Enjoy physical therapy. Guest guest
Hi, I too started having trouble with my knees starting to hyperextend. In the end, the doctors decided to upgrade me to full braces that supported the knee as well. They worked, but it is a real pain learning to walk with that locking mechanism at the knee joint. D.
