Hi Dena-

All is well here in Des Moines. Last nights tornadoes were close but they did

miss us. Today we have a wind advisory until 4:00PM. Strange weather for sure.

Well, well. Cora has more babies. I bet they are as adorable as the last ones.

Happy you have most of the last litter in your family. I bet it is nice to see

their personalities and watch as they grow and develop.

I hear more severe weather is in our forecast for later today. It has been

quite the year for it all. Setting records for rain and tornadoes. Feeling

fortunate and thankful for the person who invented basements. Most Iowa homes

have basements. Haven't went to ours yet. Last night was iffy but we continued

to watch the weather coverage instead while the sirens blew.

Thanks for asking about us.

All the best, and sending along hugs-

Hi Sandie

I hope this message finds you intact and with

electricity today. I can only image how scary a

tornado must be. I really feel for you and June. Hope

she was not all alone. We did keep one black and tan

female. Cora just gave birth again last night to 10.

Not sure yet the ratio. Last count was 4 males and 3

females. We just have not checked out the last 3.

However, all but two of the dogs now live with my son

on his 2 acres up in the High Desert. About 45 minutes

from us. So much nicer for everyone. We just could not

handle so many dogs here. So far all are doing well.

I will keep you all in my prayers. Hope the weather is

calmer today for everyones sake.
