Guest guest
Are you a lot overweight?  30 yrs ago I was a healthy, fit, 102-105 lbs, extremely active 35 y.o., was knocked off my bike by a car and bit by bit due to the hip problem that developed had to be quite sedentary. I gained 100 lbs in my 40s. Age 49- I changed jobs to a hospital where I was off and on exposed to asbestos removal, on going renovations, daily cleaning, and developed MCS. Age 55 was the onset of my tachycardia, am on a beta blocker (Toprol XL 200 mg qd).  A few years ago, disgusted that my cardiologist could not get the tachy under control, I insisted on seeing a heart rhythm specialist. He did the EP study (electrophysiology) in 2004. He could not find the source of the tachy. Since I had gained all that weight, he said although he could not see where the tachy was, it is very possible that the tachy is focusing on the heart muscle, and that if I were to lose most of the weight I had gained the tachy might lessen and eventually go away entirely.  Not doing well in losing weight, but I do my Tai Chi every day, slowing improving my eating habits. Hi All, One of the many things our disease can cause I know is heart issues which I have had since my initial exposure in 2005,
Guest guest
Hi , I believe most of us here have candida issues which would be like the first kind of signs of fungal problems. I too went to Dr and ended up with 14 medications. Fast in a couple of months but no one knew what I had even though I had a CIH report and took it with me when I went to see them. They were oblivious to any of it. I soon learn I should look things up myself and drop all of the stuff they were giving me since none of it was helping. In my case. Have you been tested for Candidda. It can give you these problems in advanced stage. Just a thought. A person in the Fourth Stage of Candida may experience a virtual SHUTDOWN OF VARIOUS ORGAN SYSTEMS of the body. For example, the adrenal glands may stop functioning when the endocrine system fails, or the digestive system may stop, producing vomiting or severe constipation. The extreme fatigue may escalate into TOTAL MUSCLE WEAKNESS, such as the neck muscles no longer being able to hold up the head. The body rashes may escalate into HIVES or BOILS. The circulatory system may be swamped with so much yeast that the capillaries are clogged, causing HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, NUMBNESS OF EXTREMITIES, and EASY BRUISING. The person may run a low-grade fever, but the hands and feet will often be very cold. The HEART may develop TACHYCARDIA (palpitations, irregular beats, mitral valve problems or heart murmur). In the respiratory system, the alveoli (air sacs) of the lungs may be packed with yeast so that the person cannot get adequate breath for speaking, singing, or exercise; there may be a FEELING OF SUFFOCATION, which may lead to HYPERVENTILATION and PANIC. The complete failure of the immune system leaves the body defenseless against all enemy bacteria, viruses, and disease conditions--including cancer.  http://www.snyderhealth.com/candida.htm   Dragonfly ... Guest guest
I don't know what you were exposed to but I, too, was having a lot of palpitations after an aspergillus exposure and it seemed that when I mentioned them, it was not happening with an EKG or when I went into the doc's office. One day, they started while the doc had the stethoscope on my back, and that " changed the landscape " since the doc was a cardiologist as well and I was extremely fit before the mold exposure. He was quite taken aback and knew I was not a " malingerer " or a fraud. It is not right to make you go more than you are capable of doing. Especially if it is as a result of profound exhaustion, and boy, do I know that feeling. It took a long time for that to abate. Years. But, it did. I relapse when I get pneumonia but have to tell myself, that if I take care of myself, and am patient, I can come out of it. Good Luck. > > No not at all, I am 38yrs old 5'5 and 130lb . Guest guest
I was exposed to Aspergillus,Penicillium,Trichoderma,Stachy and Cladasporium, we had a real little toxic party going on in our house. I too could not walk across the room before I went through detox, but now I have built up a little more energy and can get around ok most of the time. The racing heart and palpitations, what did your doctor say about them?? mine won't go away and we have been moldfree for over 2 yrs now. My husband and 12yr old daughter also have the racing heart. Guest guest
I also had heart issues after my exposure including palpitations, heart racing and my heart would frequently " jump " in my chest. I tried many different treatments. Finally, through trial and error and from the wisdom shared on Sickbuildings, I found something that helped. I take 1000 mg of Omega 3 & 6 every day. Now I rarely have any of those heart-related symptoms. One disclaimer...I also took Lamisil for several months, so that might have helped too. ________________________________ From: Meng <moldsick@...> Sent: Mon, November 16, 2009 6:24:38 AM Subject: Re: [] Re: Heart palpitations and Tachycardia I have had multiple ALA IV's and it isn't helping?? Guest guest
My heart does that every now and then.  My heart doctor had them to put a defibulator into my chest. When it does that, now, it kicks it and gives my heart a jumpstart.  Bullock B. > >I also had heart issues after my exposure including palpitations, heart > racing and my heart would frequently " jump " in my chest. Guest guest
, your friend should read this report and give it to her doctors. It discusses the success they have had using antifungals to treat MS and other motor neuron diseases. http://www.wipo.int/pctdb/en/wo.jsp?+wo=2008021970 & +DISPLAY=DESC & IA=US2007075609\ & DISPLAY=DESC ________________________________ From: Frohna <vafrohna@...> Sent: Mon, November 16, 2009 11:20:09 AM Subject: Re: [] Re: Heart palpitations and Tachycardia I know someone who was diagnosed with Potts syndrome & MS post-moldy building syndrome. Guest guest
It is a fungal infection. Usually called a yeat infection. Babies get it, women, men, However it can grow out of control. It breaks threw the intestinal wall and spreads. Called a Thrush. If untreated it can progress to a systemic fungal infection that can include lungs, heart, and other organs. At this point it can be fatal. Many people who suffer mold exposure seem to get a yeast infection first that does not respond to treatments. Some have it flare up on and off during the core of thier lives. It becomes very hard to treat. http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/    God Bless !! dragonflymcs Mayleen
