Guest guest
_Click here: Therapeutic Exercise - Knee Pain Center - EverydayHealth.com_ (http://www.everydayhealth.com/knee-pain/therapeutic-exercise.aspx) My nephew ( CMTer - 31 yrs old ), who could not do squats, hired a personal trainer, and can now do squats. He doesn't need to hang on to anything either. The trainer told him that since with CMT the brain doesn't tell the muscle in time, the trick is to confuse the brain. He told him to pretend there's a ball between his thighs and he has to hold it while he's on the tredmill, stationary bike, or whatever, and when he's doing squats. He told him he's going to fall at first ( and he did ) but that he can build those muscles. ( And he did ). I wouldn't try it myself at this point in time because I'd for sure pull every muscle, tendon and legiment there is in my legs. He also told him to spend an hour a day on working the arms, the next day the legs, the next day ab's and so on, so that he doesn't overwork any muscles, yet he's working all his muscles. **************Recession-proof vacation ideas.
