Guest guest
Hello Cyndi I can relate to your story. While I don't use a cane, I do wear orthotics, and have been through 4 major surgeries. When people actually hear my story, they are shocked, since I am still very active physically. My friends always ask why I don't use the handicapped parking spots, and I tell them it is for those that are handicapped! Mark
Guest guest
Marck, Yeah, my best friend for 25 yrs catches herself saying " hey let's go do .... something she knows I can't do and she says it is because she doesn't think of me as having a problem because I never complain and only say " I can't " when I REALLY can't. It is hard for people to see that we look somewhat normal but can't do something as simple as open a safety pin or use a clothes pin or better yet walk down a steep driveway. Yikes!
