I have an 8 year old son with suspected IGA. They are going to do a biopsy

next week to confirm this. His urine has been dark for months and they say

that is common with this. My question is for the past 2 days he has had a

fever, we think its just the flu nothing related to the kidneys but today

his fever has went down a little (99.8-100.0) but his urine is BRIGHT red.

Is this common? Should I be alarmed, or does the color of urine really

matter? We know he has been passing blood and protein its just usually

microscopic.

Thanks in advance
