Re: Insurance Companies lurking on the site

Not could be. ARE. A doctor, formerly of VeriTox, Inc. (authors of the

ACOEM mold statement and US Chamber mold statement) has been a lurker on

this board since about 2000. Let's just call him DS. He has also been a

prolific expert witness for the defense in mold litigation. In my own ongoing

case with VeriTox, an email of his was entered into the record in which he

referred to me as a " cyberstalker " for outting the deception he relies on

for his expert witnessing enterprise.

Made false statements in the email as to my actual words. When I became

aware of this in a deposition of Bruce Kelman, July 2008, I sent DS an email

setting the record straight. Four days later, his name was removed from

the VeriTox website as an employee. Gee? Wonder what that was all about?

Actually, I heard rumor that the list owner of this site works to gather info

and sell it to Defense atty for Insurance companies.

I would be interested to know where you heard such a rumor? I can assure

you it is 100% false. And not only is it false, it is offensive.

KC has volunteered over a decade of his life to help those injured by

mold. I can assure you he is not using this board to make money or to harm

anyone. The audacity of someone to suggest such a thing makes my blood boil

when I KNOW how much of KC's life he has thanklessly given to help his

fellowman navigate their way thru this tragic issue.

This kind of petty, backstabbing gossip is exactly why the naysayers are

able to do to us what they do. No need for them to really have to do

anything. The petty gossipers among us who attempt to discredit those who may

not agree with their antics, do it for them. Retaliation among less than

stellar and self professed advocates thru the use of the rumor mill hurts us

all.

This is a different world out there now. And a lot of privacy is lost when you

post online; that goes for Facebook and all those " social " sites online.

Employers look on those sites to " check out " prospective employees for the

" company they keep " and for their non-work or non-school time " habits. "

It is a double-edged sword, this internet world, and not always a nice one. I

would hope that insurance people who are certainly " lurkers " can get a grip on

the kind of prolonged suffering that this insidious toxin-driven cluster of

illness/exposure can cause. It is likely that they have " learned " from posters

here. Don't hold your breath waiting for thanks.

They can see firsthand, the struggle to find competent medical care and it

should serve as a " heads-up " to them, too, to suspect " building related illness "

in their families, particularly children in school. I prefer in my own life,

people who are " up front " and " out there " with their " agendas " - sadly, we know

this is not the case.

People often let " someone " else get " out there " and do the battle. The

" someones' else " are found here.

You are wrong and are spreading false rumors. KC would not do this.

On the other hand, insurance companies will do anything and everything to win a

lawsuit including lurking on mold websites and harassing innocent people and

committing illegal acts.

She mentions knowledge of a Facebook group and there is another one here that

mentioned the Facebook " mold " group and she backchanneled me and said it was

better than this group, but then said she wasn't going to give me address

because they didn't want 'Sickbuilding' people there, so perhaps one of these

people. She also had heard that KC is working for the insurance companies or

some other diabolic story. Odd way of insurance companies hurting us. Giving

us a very helpful person. lol. I think boot the member as we don't need the

negativity but KC has left her here. Now maybe another member from Facebook

group. I don't know. I did not put post through. Maybe she is just victim of

malicious rumor and nothing more.

I have never been in competition with any other groups. The more groups, the

better. If someone feels that the members on this group can't help them I often

would refer other groups. If you can't get help here,I hope you can get help

somewhere.

I have been a member of this group for years! KC has helped me SO much I

can't even put into wordsall my thanks. I don't know what I would have

done without him. The world is certainly a better place because of wonderful

Dumb as a box of rocks..... That is my second wife. Sadly its not a joke.. I was

going to throw my two cents in on this one but I felt it best not to. I was so

irate the post probably could not be posted. Whoever the fool is doesn't know

how many people know you on a personal level as well as on the board so it is

just, well, stupid. I will keep it at that. I hope you always post that crap so

that the person saying such a thing can get an idea of how silly those kind of

statements are.

Been here since 1998, couln't have made it without KC. And what do we have to

hide from the criminal elements that could be lurking. I think it is criminal

what has happened to us. I don't blame anyone for any mold I had in my places,
