Guest guest
I did quite a bit of research on Lamisil particularly since I did not want kidney damage caused by amphotericin B, or other antifungals. What I learned on European sites was that it was used on Bone marrow transplantees and AIDS patients for aspergillosis infections and it seemed to kill the fungus without taking the patient with it. It is not without risk. I did not drink ONE alcoholic drink when I was on it and faithfully had the bloodwork for liver function done. It can cause vision issues and other side effects. I stayed in bed for as much as I could to let it work as best I could and drank lots of water. It took months to get it and a lot of aggravation. If this fungus can cause cancer, and I have read that it does, then doesn't it make sense to kill the fungus to prevent further invasion of the tissue and degradation of your immune system? I did not know that Lamisil was in generic form. The original prescriptions were over $1,000 when the use was for cosmetic reasons for toenail fungus. Shows you were the priorities are. Vanity Medicine. > > You are second person to say that Lamisil helped you. Since Lamisil is made to treat the Dermatophyte, it is surprising. The Dermatophyte is a fungus that does not infect living tissue, just the dead top dermis.
