Guest guest
I moved out of a mobile home when I found mold, the apt I lived in for 10 months after that, per rumors, had mold, too. There was mold in the hospital where I worked for 12 years, too.  It became difficult to breathe through my nose and I had frequent nosebleeds, not common for me, and frequently sinus drainage with blood draining down my throat would make my throat sore.  Turned out I had nasal polyps, got the surgery in 2006. You might have your sinuses checked for polyps. Since the surgery, my nose does not feel the same anymore-- seems kinda floppy and the nostrils are larger, before I could barely get a finger tip in. Also, when I scratch/push the outside of the nose at the bottom above the lips if the skin is itchy, I can't seem to feel the scratch like I used to, not sure if the surgery affected the nerves in that area. The body changes are so slight as I get older; I can't remember much except I once wore size 5 and hot pants and boots. I had some really strange symptoms like a sharp pain in my nose when breathing, shortness of breath and a feeling like I can't get enough air, constant headaches and tiredness, these strange muscle tremors and blood spots in my phlegm and snot. Guest guest
Hi Corky, Thanks for the response. I woke up this morning whith some bad pain in what feels like the back of my nose. It kind feels a bit like when you get water run up your nose or when you sneeze when you're eating and get a bit of food stuck in your nose. Can mould cause these polyps? Cheers Steve > > I moved out of a mobile home when I found mold, the apt I lived in for 10 months after that, per rumors, had mold, too. >
Guest guest
Yes, but they can be caused by something else such as allergies, infection, inflammation. When the doctor did the surgery he checked me for fungus, glad that was negative. Have your tried the saline nasal rinses? I like the Neil Med-- has a plastic bottle-- as opposed to a neti pot. Still is best to be checked by an ENT, they did a specific CT of the sinuses, can't remember what they called it. >> Hi Corky, Thanks for the response.
