Suzanne,

Thanks for the news link. As we read from the abstract and later a full text

copy (in our files) of Dr. Burns research, this trial was the first report on

children. The newstory failed to mention that Dr. Burns has received a

Fullbright Scholarship and will be studying CMT 1A with other researchers in the

USA for 6 months. There is still alot we don't know about Ascorbic Acid (Vit. C)

WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED DOSE FOR US WHO WANT TO START TAKING VITAMIN C?

TV segment about Vitamin C and CMT 1A

Hi all,

This was on TV tonight in Australia on the nationally broadcast channel. My

mother rang to tell me it was on TV - now!, but we were in the middle of

dinner and my two older sons (one with CMT, one without), said that we know

ALL about CMT. Fortunately, I was able to watch it later on the internet.

Unfortunately for our family, we are affected by Type 2A, but it is an

encouraging story on the Vitamin C trials with children.

Suzanne
