Guest guest Posted May 28, 2008 Report Share Posted May 28, 2008 Be sure you have the appraisal done by someone who doesn't want to buy the things, as that can affect the way they appraise. I have been in the antique/collectible business for several years and would encourage you to be sure not to throw anything away until you do have it appraised. You will be surprised at some of the things that are collectible.
