Guest guest
Hi Gretchen, Dr. Jesus Vilchez, Neurology Department´s Chief at Hospital de la Fe, Valencia, Spain, is achieving research to develop a " formula " useful for a easier diagnostic of CMT cases (particulary those that there aren´t CMT1 or CMTX) aplying protemics techniques. That is looking at dammaged proteins like PMP22 (peripheral mielinic protein) in CMT1. Probably, at Southern California you can find a better translator than me. The following pages talks about Dr. Vilchez (spanish) and protemics (english) http://www.gacetamedica.com/gacetamedica/articulo.asp?idcat=233 & idart=266108 http://www.proteomics.com/ Regards Pedro
