Guest guest
I'd appreciate your feedback of my understanding of AS to date: There are various Aspie traits, and there are those who have a bundle of traits. Like anything, there are positive and negative traits. However, AS can result in several peculiar characteristics common to AS that severely impact social reciprocity in the context of a marriage to an NT partner including: a significant lack of empathy, lack of ability to express and receive affection, inability to initiate physical contact, trouble giving positive feedback, exclusively seeing and identifying the negative in the non-AS partner, continual circle conversations, inability to establish a close relationship leading to loneliness, etc. The NT partner must learn to adapt because the AS partner can't change.
