Thanks- that's what I was thinking-- do the rising " COPD " (chronic

pulminary obstructive disorder) rates in the elderly somehow relate

to the asthma epidemic in children and could flu shots (coupled with

perhaps general over-drugging with whatever) be a common cause.

I have some ideas...

I know that there have been reports to VAERS of acute respiratory failure. I am

not sure if

anything has been published in peer review. Thimerosal is also a cardiotoxin so

acute heart

failure can mimic lung problems.

I just saw my father in a nursing facility and read his charts. He had

the kind of arterial plaque which the Cleveland hospital study linked

to mercury. After nine years of getting flu shots (at the urging of a

family member who's in the medical profession), he suddenly developed a

heart condition. Though he's never been sick in my life time and had

never had respiratory symptoms, he was diagnosed with COPD. I thought

it was probably partly or even mostly from thimerosal. When I told him

what I thought, he found it credible and stopped getting the shots last

year. He'd found that, in the wake of the shots, he was getting severe

bronchitis.

As an aside, my dad is completely lucid but, even so, he couldn't

follow the hospital jargon, had no idea they'd put him on the " Heath

Ledger cocktail " of what they call " comfort drugs " (two SSRIs, two

benzos and a narcotic painkiller)-- for " anxiety " and his lung function

deteriorated further. Hey, that mix caused death from respiratory

failure in a twenty-eight year old, why not try it on an octagenarian

with COPD?

I tried to fix the problem by telling him what they'd done (he rarely

drinks, doesn't like mind-altering anything, is " drug naive " and can

have an adverse reaction to a single dose of pain killer) and

translating the recognizable BRAND names of these drugs from the

unrecognizable generic giberish which was in the charts (the downside

of treating with generic) and then, with his consent, arranging for him

to be put on a double-slow withdrawal from the drugs. I think I may

call back and request an even slower withdrawal.

Sadly I can't go back and undo all the damage. And here's the kind of

person that mainstream medicine did in: during the visit, he mostly

wanted to be reassured that we were pursuing the best alternative

medical treatments possible for our kids because he fully believes that

hypervaccination is the major cause of the epidemic. He had to write

all this down because he stopped being able to speak-- just like my son

did. Funny how that works.

Some asthma meds can actually CAUSE rebound (and sometimes fatal)

asthma attacks. We also went thru a period where the doctors just kept

adding one medication after another to my son's asthma regimin. He

becames so aggressive he was nearly expelled from first grade. Once I

learned more about the meds and weaned him off, his behavior improved

dramatically. We are also now patients of Dr. Jepson at Thoughtful

House in Austin, and his regimin of vitamins had dramatically reduced

the incidence and severity of asthma. We are able to contol the

occasional attacks at home and my son has had only one brief illness in

the last two years.

I suspect vaccines were the trigger for his asthma when I look at his

medical records.

All I know is, I never had asthma until I received my first flu shot.

My husband is the one who pointed this out to me. After several years

of listening to me hack, wheeze and suck on inhalers, he showed me

some old home videos, pre flu shot. Hmmmm... no coughing...nothing!!!

That convinved me to try something different. I went to a Chinese

herbalist, my introduction to Alternative medicine. I brewed a " Rx "

concoction of herbs into a tea and drank it every day. It tasted

pretty bad, but I swear that this helped get me on the road to health.

Each time I saw this Dr. (also a Western Medicine Doc), she changed

the " Rx " . I was no longer using my inhaler, as the coughing was

tapering off. Eventually, I was able to stop going altogether.

As I adopted a healthier lifestyle, my immune system repaired itself.

I now see a Chiropractor for wellness and nutrition and take a few

supplements as determined through Meridia Stress Tests.

I haven't had a flu shot for 5 years, and I consider myself asthma

free. Do I think it was the mercury that caused my asthma? You bet I

do, but I still wouldn't touch another flu shot, even preservative

free. I wish I would have known this before my grandson got a flu

shot. That was his toxic tipping point!
