Thanks...... for http://tinyurl.com/4dkb8g link...... to Autism Speaks on Vanderbilt's symposium.

I have attended, and, been greatly disappointed, in a "symposium" on autism in Rockland County, New York, the last two years.

I have received notice that this year's "symposium" will be held in September. In addition, the organizers have asked for any suggestions to make this year's symposium more informative than previous symposium's.

Hopefully, the Vanderbilt symposium will provide me the "suggestions" they have requested.

Again, thanks!!!!

Symposium Focuses on Role of Environment in

Autism:

On April 22, more than 200 participants convened at Vanderbilt

University to discuss the role of the environment in increasing autism

risk as well as its impact on the diversity of behavioral and medical

symptoms in autism. Presenters included experts in the fields of

toxicology, epidemiology, psychology, and molecular biology. Special

emphasis was given to how epidemiological research has informed

scientists about potential exposures and how they may interact with

genetic risk factors. Also discussed were a variety of potential

environmental factors and how exposure to them may produce symptoms of

ASD. Full videos of the presentations are available on the Symposium

website. Read more (http://www.kintera.org/TR.asp?

lol...yes!...what exactly do they think has contaminated our environment and made it poisonous? It couldn't have anything to do with the pharma labs trashing toxic waste in rivers, could it? The head of Vanderbilt's medical school is Schaffner-- big-time

vaccine mouthpiece. Our kids were evaluated at the school and zero

mention of vaccines was made at the time. In fact, the evaluator had

written articles about how vaccines were not the cause.

Furthermore, the evaluator said our daughter wasn't on the spectrum,

but her brother was. Turns out, our daughter is every bit as toxic as

her brother and is not " normalizing " on her own as this doc said she

would.

So I don't know how this symposium is going to be received by the

staff at this place. They'll just discuss the everything-but-vaccines

theories most likely.
