Guest guest
Guys, there is no need to thank me. We are all in this together and fight where we can. Yes, I too thought the words in Obama's speech were music for the most part. However, I have heard those words before out of DC. Words without action mean nothing. We have been telling our elected officials in DETAIL of exactly why and how commerce has been able to deny causation of these illnesses for fun and profit for four years now. Personally, I am sick of their sympathetic ear accompanied by their silent mouth of no action. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to understand what is going on here and how the Chamber of Commerce has intentionally mass promoted false science to the courts, which causes YOU to be unable to receive proper medical treatment from physicians. The courtroom is driving the health policy science. Lobbying money flows into DC on both sides of the isle. Love the words in the speech last night, but am skeptical that they will amount to anything of significance to help the American public at this point in time. They need to put their money where their mouth is and call out the US Chamber, the National Apartment Association, ACOEM and AOEC for the racketeering that has been occurring over this issue that has been so harmful to US citizens. They know exactly what is going on over this issue and how it encompasses all the wrongs discussed in President Obama's speech last night. Until they do something about the wrongs of this issue, in my book, talk is cheap. Some will say give them a chance to perform, it is a new day. I say, it is not a new day if they continue to ignore the clearly and easily documented racketeering over this issue that adversely affects thousands of Americans. While I am thankful to the late Senator Kennedy for ordering a GAO audit that has at least acknowledged the illnesses many of you experience are at least plausibly caused by exposure to contaminants in water damaged buildings, I am leery that anything will really change anytime soon if they don't finish the job and shut down the deceit of ACOEM and the Chamber once and for all. True healthcare reform is not about just assuring everyone has insurance. It is about assuring that everyone receives the best medical care possible - free from industry influencing physician treatment protocols. I saw NOTHING in that speech last night that even came close to addressing this key insidious aspect of healthcare. Sharon In a message dated 9/10/2009 6:26:56 A.M. Guest guest
Yes real reform would be to include something for the people with our illnesses. It does me no good to get a mammogram or anything else if they don't address the yeast problems many of us have, the mold and chemical issues. And now they are talking about allowing more corporate influence with the politians. I thought they promised us to get rid of the special interest. I support our President but these issues have to be addressed. I like to be informed but it gets so exhausting watching the news. --- In , snk1955@... wrote: > > Guys, there is no need to thank me.
