I can't speak to the subject of ALA, but I had all my amalgams out. Before I

did, I had a moderately high amount show on hair analysis. Hair analysis done

by one alternative doctor. Amalgams removed by a dentist I found on my own. I

had a hair analysis done again about three years later and mercury levels were

very very low. I also followed advice I read on chelating heavy metals, since I

also had exposure to lead dust from a sanding project.
