Short term it is great. Long term it will do you no good unfortunately. Take it from someone who has spent thousands on massage. I mean, it is good to loosen up the toxins, etc., so there are some health benefits for sure. But its not going to cure you. For me, the single most important thing I ever did for my fibro pain is stop eating wheat and gluten!! My pain decreased 80-90% in a matter of a couple of weeks. _jason_ _________ ________ _______ _____ ____ ___ __ _ _ _
Guest guest
A study showed massage to be the most helpful therapy as rated by patients, so the consensus is generally yes, and it is my experience too. Stretching is also helpful. I think both may be helpful because both releases toxins, but particularly massage does, which is one theory in FMS that things are going on in our bodies that cause toxic build up thus making our bodies acidic and achy. Guest guest
Speaking of toxins, I'm considering doing a sauna therapy based on the body purification program that L. Ron Hubbard started. Anybody done it? Re: Massage > A study showed massage to be the most helpful therapy as rated by patients, so the consensus is generally yes, and it is my experience too. Stretching is also helpful.
