OFF TOPIC: Need a Favor From People Outside the USA.

I volunteer for a non-profit organization in Seattle called the Refugee Women

Alliance (ReWA). ReWA assists refugee women with language and citizenship

classes, domestic violence programs, disability programs, child-care, and more.

Each year we have a charity auction to raise money for operations and programs.

This year our dinner/auction theme is a fashion show of authentic clothing from

around the world. Our table centerpieces will feature textiles from other

countries. People at the various tables may bid on the centerpieces to raise

money for ReWA. We need traditional scarves, table-runners, placemats, and

other fabric items from a variety of countries. If anyone has the ability to

acquire such fabric items, please email me off list. I would love to be able to

work out a trade, purchase, or donation.
