I think I may be a prude for saying this. And its probably is just a joke for

some.I dont think this is a silly fwd.  But I REALLY feel sorry for the seniors

who were poisoned by this drug dealing grandson. I really enjoyed this site when

it has been fibro related too. but I really don't understand this sadness in the

world that we should praise a drug dealer for messing with our seniors?

I suffer with fibromyalgia without Pain meds except on occation or after

surgeries.  because I dont believe that addiction is the answer.  So many other

fibros use pain meds because that is all they can do to get through the day. Ive

heard of some having more pain on the meds then off the meds. Some even use

medicinal pot. But I dont think its unknowingly. They are given the list of

precautions and side effects etc. How sad for you to think this is funny.. I

have small kids and I will talk to them about this email and how it is not funny

at all. I dont want my son to be a drug dealing on the run kind of guy. I do

enjoy my life and I dance like no one is watching and I dont think others know

there are alot of us suffering so I give them the nametag ignorance. You say to

Drug addiction. major battle. Just go to skid row in Los Angeles and you will

see how sad it can be. Go to any most high schools and ask about attendence and

their drug problems.Its not the schools problem its all of our problem. Pot is

not funny. drug dealer on the run is not funny. I am the parent of 3 kids of our

future. I need to guide them with answers not teach them its ok to poison old

people because its funny. We need to be examples and lead our children the best

we can.

I loved learning here. But I have had it too.  I am fighting a battle here. Do

others not see some issues are not appropriate here. Yeah fibro fog makes me

delete alot of the other fwds that have come through lately. but this one caught

my attention because I am passionate about my kids and about keeping them drug

free.

I am done. Good luck to you all. There has been too many of these kinds of sad

fwds that come in and its not worth it for me. but thanks to others you all for

your input in the past.

PARTY AT

THE SENIOR CENTER

Last night we went to a party

at our local senior center . . The last Saturday of every month, they have

an evening potluck supper. We usually eat, play bingo, reminisce, and

drink a little wine and talk about the good ole

days.

We heard Selma 's

grandson is staying with her for a few weeks.

It's

rumored he got in a scrap over some marijuana with the law out in

Phoenix and he came to Denton to avoid the

heat.

Anyway, Selma is known for her

delicious Brownies, and she always bakes up

a quadruple batch for each

get-together. ..

She makes enough for everyone

and some for folks to take home for later.

For

some reason they were extra good this week, and every last one of them

was

eaten.

Not a one left

over.

We later found out that Selma 's

grandson, Butch, laced the brownies with

some of his

marijuana.

Knowing this, I guess it offers a

logical reason for everyone feeling good that

night.

By the time Zeke put on the bunny hop

record, everyone was in a real good mood,

and it

was the first time the whole place got up and danced . .

that is until the cops came to check all

the noise

complaints.

Well, that's another story . .
