Guest guest
They should focus on the new Hair test interpretation book. So many people out there who have heard about the mercury issue dismiss it or have docs who dismiss it because they've had some inaappriate testing done (urine, blood, hair test without counting rules, etc). Ideally they would have Imus and a couple of his family or staff members have their hair tested and let Andy go over the counting rules for them on the air.... Guest guest
Jeanine, well that sounds like good news as can be expected except for the unavailabillty of the neurosurgeon. I hope you get ahold of him soon. The waiting is the worst. Hugz Shaye OT: is holding his own so far. Our Dr. gave him a strong lecture yesterday when was making 'go home' noises. Dr. Maddi said 'one false move and you're dead! Don't do this to your wife'. was a little subdued after that. Four people got him into a chair for about fifteen minutes. Have to be careful with his head and the neck brace. He's not eating well but then hospital food is not very appetizing. His face still looks bad but at least he can open his right eye. I keep missing the neurosurgeon so we don't know what his plans are and he is usually unavailable when I try to contact him at the hospital. Very frustrating!! Just trying to keep sane. I thought you'd say that. Do you ever run with Gimlet on the beach? I'm tempted to try that with Tigger, but am afraid I'll run into something. LOL! Guest guest
Eh? Walmart founded by Sam Walton http://littlerock.about.com/cs/homeliving/a/aasamwalton.htm Quote " Sam Walton Retail Success Story Contrary to popular belief, Sam Walton (the founder of Wal-Mart) was not from Arkansas. He was actually born in Kingfish, Oklahoma on March 29, 1918. He was raised in Missouri where he worked in his father's store while attending school. This was his first retailing experience and he really enjoyed it. After graduating from the University of Missouri in 1940, he began his own career as a retail merchant when he opened the first of several franchises of the Ben lin five-and-dime franchises in Arkansas. This would lead to bigger and better things and he soon opened his first Wal-Mart store in 1962 in , Arkansas. Wal-Mart specialized in name-brands at low prices and Sam Walton was surprised at the success. Soon a chain of Wal-Mart stores sprang up across rural America. " etc etc > Re: Re: OT: > > > , > > LOL! Guest guest
, Thanks for clarifying that. I saw a documentary about Wal-Mart a few years ago and apparently confused the name with Walton because they sound the same. Chalk this up to yet another experience when my hearing loss caused me to misunderstand something because I didn't hear it correctly. LOL! Thank goodness those " misunderstandings " are becoming a thing of the past now that I have my CI! Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for your note. Yes, we have tried the B6 and vit c. Our son is on a long list of supplements. Some seem to help to some degree, but nothing drastic. (We have not had gaba injected...would love to read the article) Our son had a brain injury at birth. I'm on several of the brain related injury groups, which are a huge support. We have had limited vaccinations for him, and our other children. They are not fully vaxed. I will check out the other group as well. Thanks again, Lori Re: Re: OT: Disabled girl's growth medically stunted > OK...I have to say something here. > > Do you not think that they have already tried to " cure " their > daughter...she is six years old! > We have an 8 year old with cerebral palsy, caused by a brain injury at > birth.
