Thank you . Sorry for the delay responding back. Having a 19

month old and running a business keeps me busy. I tried clicking on

the link for the movement disorder specialist you have listed below

but it is broken.

It has been a while since I first posted on here. You may not

remember me, lol. It is message #63306-new dr's not sure it's lbd due

to mom's lengthy psych history- help. After I first posted on here,

we took my mom to see Dr. Jiong Shi at Barrow Neurology Clinic, whom

were we told by the office that he specializes in LBD and memory

disorders, etc.

We took my mom to see him twice and were not impressed with him. Both

times, he determined my mom does not have any type of memory

disorder, LBD, parkinson's, etc. He said he thought she was faking

all of her problems and is all due to mental illness. We have seen

mom turn things on and off over the years, so we kind of brushed it

off. And have also been told by psych dr's in the state pysch units

she's been in the same thing. We still didn't like this particular dr.

Maybe we should get her to see DR Patricio Reyes, who I originally

wanted her to go to. Pulling up his bio and what he specializes in,

on their website, is pretty impressive and sounds through.

In the psych unit she was at 2 years ago, they did one and claim it

all came back normal. Maybe she should have a new one ordered up?

But with the snf she has bee ni nthe last year, good luck getting

that. They brush you off, get defensive, especially the treating

psych dr who sees her there, etc.

Here's two more MDs in PHX area...

J. Casilli,MD, Head of Neurology Dept,

Mayo Clinic, sdale, AZ

Marwan Sabagh,

Sun Health Research,

Sun City, AZ

You'll have to google for addresses and phone numbers.

I've met both of them and they're very knowledgeable about LBD.
