I believe one Bicillin C/R 900/300 (for pediatric use)

by deep intramuscular injection should suffice; if

there is elevated temperature, can repeat in 2-3 days.

Carefully read about this with your search engine

(any allergies in child or in family?) and talk to

your doctor. Let him/her know that 7 days of oral

penicillin would destroy all his good resident

bacteria (as well as his pathogenic ones) and make him

susceptible to yeast invasion, which I'm sure he/she

knows (I hope?). There is another form for low-grade

infections Bicillin L/A, but dental abscess would

qualify as moderate to severe soft tissue infection

in my opinion. Dr. JM
