No, all of us with CMT are different and have different needs regarding feet and

ankles. I'm 56 and have never had either ankle surgery or a fusion. You might

want to review our archives for past posts on surgery.

Adam can't have it done either. He is to weak.

i was not even a candidate as the doctor said that my CMT weakness encompasses

all 4 areas around the ankle, so too weak to be successful.
