If you do the suppository at bedtime, collect the first morning urine and then

a 2nd, if your child is at home.  If not, the first one should be adequate.

DMSA challenge via suppository - Help!!

We are doing our first DMSA challenge via suppository and I am not

sure how long to wait after the suppository before starting the

collection. Our Doc wants us to do a timed 6-8 hr test but not sure

how long to wait before collection. Thanks

Hi all,

I am also about to do our first urine challenge with DMSA suppositories. Below

is my plan, can anyone let me know if it's correct?

PRE collection - is first morning urine, right?

I am going to do the suppository at bedtime

POST collection - If doing the 6-8 hour timed collection, I will try the

pediatric collector overnight (since my son is still in diapers) and then get

first morning urine and also the 2nd urine of the day??

Any guidance would be very much appreciated!
