Guest guest
Hi Dann- Thanks so much for checking in. I assumed the heart of the storm missed you, however, it was whirling a wide path and wondered if you might be on the outskirts of it all. Thankful you made it home safely and that all is well in your neck of the woods. It sounds like you had a great weekend at yet another festival. Stick with the LBD friend/family. You have insight and wisdom to help out. Conditioned to give helpful information and a huge heart to go along with it all. :-)) Do take care. Give our best to Sandy as well. My older sister is married to her younger brother- in law. Anyway, her doctors after several years of no diagnosis, are now calling it Parkinson's. There are no tremors, and the basic symptoms, increasing dementia etc remind me so much of Mom about 7 years back. Time will tell. ***** Live on the farm is ok these days. Our Corn and Soybean are all up and reaching for the Sun. My area has missed the really severe weather so far. I watched a huge wind and lightning show last night driving home from SW Iowa. The sky was just alive with powerful weather clouds. Memorial Day Weekend, I had been making rope at a Danish " Tivoli " Festival in Elk Horn, Iowa. When the rain started and the wind picked up on sunday night, I packed my rope machine and viking stuff into the Toyota and headed North. I came home with a Danish Aebleskiver Pan. Makes something like fruit filled large donut holes about the size of a large egg. I ate 4 and was filled to the brim. " Viking Sam " a friend from NE Missouri, ate 30 of them to win the Aebeskiver eating contest. There were participant viking age re-enactors from 6 states and 4 men that drove in from Toronto, Canada for the event. Had a whole hog roast on Saturday. Fun was had by all. There were also a lot of " lady vikings " , but I managed to stay out of trouble. <grins> Dann > > Hi Jan, just heard it on the news whilst at work, Sandie if your out there let us know your ok, you too Dann... > .xx > Sandie and Dann/OT > > > Has anyone in the group heard from Sandie or Dann?
