Guest guest
, I don't know. Dr. McFarland - urologist -told me that this was a precursor for kidney stones which I believe are made up of oxalate crystals. I would give it a try. We took our daughter to Arkansas Children's Hospital for this problem and they never looked at her urine with a microscope. They basically didn't know what to do - like the pediatrician. They just asked if she had more stress in her daily routine which would cause her to go to the bathroom. I finally took her to a private urologist in southern Arkansas who usually only sees adults. He's fantastic with our daughter and he caught this right away. But, to answer your question - I would think it would work but if you're looking at oxalate crystals your son may have a kidney stone?? Shari -urine , It only takes a drop of urine on a slide. This site shows different slides. Calcium phosphate is listed as well as many others. If the juice doesn't taste good enough for him to drink you cold put the capsule in some pear sauce? Our daughter drank it for a while then complained it burned her throat.
