Guest guest
Hi Pete! I had one done as well about 2 months ago. It did hurt like hell as well. They used the needles on me (some people don't get the needles). I actually had them stuck in my neck. I had pain for about 2 weeks afterwards. It is completely normal. Guest guest
Pete- I had that test done too, and I was really a baby during it, it hurt soooo much I was begging them to stop. It will stop by itself though. After that test, the surgeon went ahead and scheduled a neck fusion for me. I had lost so much strength and was constantly dropping things. They wanted to do a repeat test after my surgery and I told them no way! Mine was done from my hands up to my shoulders. Hopefully they'll be able to figure out what they can do next to get rid of whatever ails you. Good luck! I joked that they could use that to make you confess to just about anything in order to have them stop. My Wife had to leave the room, she couldn't handle watching me have it done. I do not remember residual pain after the test though. I hope it goes away soon for you. FWIW everytime I had it done ,the told me they found no broken or damaged nerve paths. Guest guest
I had one a few months ago. I swore that I would NEVER allow it to be done again! I have an ongoing problem with a muscle spasm next to my shoulder blade and when they put the needle into it I cried like a baby and MADE them stop. I could not handle anymore... And yes they said that there was muscle damage/abnormality in THAT muscle! (DUH) Certainly did not need a needle stuck in it to figure that out! ANYWAY, that is the only muscle or area that I remember having any pain in afterwards. Only because they got the muscle flared up and spasming again though. Hope you feel better soon. Maybe ibuprofen would help the pain since inflammation is probably whats causing you to hurt. Guest guest
Yes I had that done recently. It left black and blue marks on my arms for a couple of week. Yes I was jumping around also. The reason that I had the test was because of tingling in my right and left arm. It did not hurt as much as the pains that I get in my shoulders, legs and neck. I try to keep active like swimming sessions that I think gives me movement.
