For those of us that must live outside,The best protection I think is a good

personel protection dog-I have 2 airedales which alert me to anything-they smell

in their sleep-cars 2 miles away, rattlesnakes, cougars, rats, people. Mans best

friend, better than toxic spray.

hornet spray near your door.

pepper spray. The cans typically shoot 20 to 30 feet; so if someone tries to

break into your home, Glinka says " spray the culprit in the eyes " . It's a tip

he's given to students for decades. It's also one he wants everyone to hear.

Cecilia Sobecki. The suspect robbed and beat Sobecki, breaking her hip and

wrist. Sunday, Sobecki died. The suspect is still on the loose.

> " That's going to give you a chance to call the police; maybe get out. "

> Maybe even save a life. The suspect from this weekend's beating is described

as a heavyset white female, about five foot eight inches tall. She was last seen

wearing a dark hood. If you have any info police want to hear from you.

, I have heard experts say this also, that nothing beats a dog for

protection. I used to think they earned the title of 'man's best friend' for

being friendly, but now I understand why they have earned that title. I can't

have one, but wish I could.

Great advise!!! :)

You may think dogs are reliable but in most case they have been too domesticate

to do the job... and with the spray you don't have to feed and walk it.

I' deffinately passing this one along.
